Yahoo reports: Second American hostage murder claimed as Bush appeals for help in Iraq. Gah!

I happened to see the video of the first beheading today, and it still haunts me. What kind of inhuman animals can do this, all in the name of "freeing their sisters'"? Sawing through the neck of a living man, who is screaming "stop!" until his vocal cords are severed and blood is gushing out of his throat...

These sisters, as the Yahoo article mentions, are the two remaining female prisoners of the U.S. forces in Iraq: two female scientists said to have worked on bioweapons.

This needs to stop. If I were commanding the coalition forces in Iraq, I'd get some Iraqi special forces to dress up as a lawless street gang and 'kidnap' some 'contractors'. Then they should offer to sell these hostages to the 'resistance'. As soon as the deal is done, I'd wait until the video with the demands was being produced and shipped to Al Jazeera and then swoop in with special forces, homing in on the tiny radio beacons the hostages had swallowed before being 'kidnapped'.

Then I'd put Al Zarqawi's head, which got 'accidentally' separated from his neck during the raid, on a stake and place it in central Baghdad, hidden under a tarp. After that I'd call Al Jazeera for the scoop of their lives.... Oh, and don't forget the sign: "Osama, you're next!"

It might not be nice, but if it puts a stop to this kind of barbarism...

Now let's roll with Western Private Militias against the Terrorists

We have had enough with the beheadings of Western Professionals who are in Iraq to help re-build that country. The beheadings of Armstrong and Hensley and many others like Berg, Pearl in the past is a harbinger of worse things to come in the Middle East. All American professionals, diplomats and marines are in danger of being hacked one after the other and all of them need to go on the offensive. The question is HOW?

There are thousands of Western professionals scattered all across the Middle East. In the given circumstances, we have two options. To cut and run, or take the war into the enemy camp. The time has come to think and act on unorthodox lines. Western and more so American professionals should team up with US marines, diplomats and CIA operatives located across the globe and form informal secretive partisan cells to share technology selectively to cause napalm and scaled neutron explosions in the most notorious mosques across the globe during Friday prayers when most of the terrorists gather to listen to the incitement of the Mullahs. Get them when they are at the game of inciting and getting incited.

In New York good targets to begin with are the Jersey City Mosque at 539 Bergen Avenue, the Islamic Center of Asbury Park at 209 Bond Street, the American Islamic Academy at 110 Harrison Street, Boonton, and the Masjid Al Haqq at 689 Springfield Avenue, Newark. And in London we can start with the Finsbury Park mosque of the notorious Muslim cleric Abu Hamza, the Brixton Mosque in south London whose imam Abdullah el-Faisal, was convicted of soliciting murder and three charges involving stirring up racial hatred. Blowing up Muslim marchers in Western cities and also the peaceniks is also a good idea.

A feather in our cap would be if we succeed in blowing up the nuclear facilities at Natanz and Bushehr by teaming up with the Iranian student movement who are dead opposed to the Mullahs who are in the last stages of making an A-bomb.

Our governments have proved to be ineffectual in understanding the ghoulish aims of the enemies of civilization. We need to team up with Israelis, Serbs, and all others who have had experience with fighting Muslims in an unorthodox way and carry the war into the enemy camp. Sympathetic officers in CIA, the Scotland Yard and Mossad can help out. In fact they can take the initiative in this, other volunteers would join in later. And private volunteers joining in would have to be fiercely committed to this cause and method. They would need to be thoroughly screened and tested out for their will power before they can be deployed. This is no game for the faint-hearted and lily-livered.

Come on let's come up with ideas and deploy unorthodox methods that can work in taking the war into the enemy’s camp and put the fear of death in them too. Let’s roll.

Well said. I watched it too (my first), then sent it to my son, a Marine, in Iraq. Every soldier, every American, and everyone in the UN ought to be forced to watch it. Only then does one realize the true evil we are faced with, and why it must be dealt with directly...
